This policy explains which data the GetOurBonus mobile app collects, why we collect it and how you can control it. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Last updated: October 1, 2026.
Data Controller
The GetOurBonus app is published by JG AGENCY FZE, which is responsible for the processing of your personal data described in this policy.
Data We Collect
- Account: first name, email address, username, password (stored only in encrypted, irreversible form), language and phone number (required when signing up with an email address, optional with Apple or Google).
- Sign in with Apple or Google: the identifier provided by Apple or Google, your email address (possibly an Apple relay address) and your name if you share it.
- Device: a random installation identifier created by the app (not an advertising identifier), phone model, system version, app version, time zone, region and notification token.
- Activity in the app: app opens, screens visited, videos watched, liked and shared, tools opened, quiz answers and results, XP, levels and streaks, notifications received and opened.
- Connection data: IP address, approximate location deduced from it, connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile network), and login history (date, sign-in method, success or failure).
We do not collect your precise GPS location, your contacts, your photos or any payment data.
How We Use Your Data
- Create and manage your account, sign you in and secure your access (performance of the terms of use).
- Run quizzes, XP, levels, streaks and the leaderboard, and save your progress (performance of the terms of use).
- Send you notifications about new videos and your daily quiz reminder at the right time in your time zone (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- Send you service emails, such as a password reset code (performance of the terms of use).
- Understand which features are used in order to improve the app, and produce overall statistics (our legitimate interest).
- Prevent fraud, cheating and abuse, and protect our servers (our legitimate interest).
Approximate Location
When you open the app, your approximate location (country, region, city) is deduced from your IP address using the ip-api.com service. The app never asks for access to your GPS location. On a mobile network, the location obtained is often that of your carrier and may be far from where you actually are: this is why the app also sends the connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile network). This information is only used for overall statistics on the distribution of our users and is never shown to other users.
Notifications
Notifications are only sent if you allow them on your phone. To deliver them, a notification token is sent to the Expo service, which forwards notifications to Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android). We record whether a notification was delivered and opened in order to measure its usefulness. You can turn off certain notifications in your Profile, or all notifications in your phone settings.
Face ID
If you choose to sign back in with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint, recognition is handled entirely by your phone. We never receive your biometric data: the app only stores, in your phone's secure keychain, a login key that can only be unlocked by this recognition.
Data Sharing
We never sell or rent your data and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We only share what is necessary with the service providers that run the app:
- our hosting provider, which stores the app's data and videos;
- Apple and Google, for sign-in with their accounts and the delivery of notifications;
- Expo, for sending notifications;
- Amazon Web Services, for sending service emails;
- ip-api.com, for the approximate location of IP addresses.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority.
Public Information
Your username, level and XP are visible to other users in the leaderboard. Your first name, email address, phone number and location are never shown to other users.
Data Retention
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, progress, XP, likes, activity history and notification inbox are deleted immediately, and your Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked. Login history is kept for security purposes, and technical records not linked to your account (such as delivery statistics) may be kept for overall statistics. Sessions on a device expire automatically after 30 days without use.
Security
All exchanges between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in encrypted, irreversible form, login keys are stored in your phone's secure keychain, and access to our administration tools is protected by two-factor authentication.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You can edit your profile directly in the app and delete your account at any time (Profile > Delete my account). For any other request, contact us using the link below. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Minors
The app is reserved for persons aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If you learn that a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy, for example when a new feature is added. In the event of significant changes, you will be informed in the app or by notification. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
